• NLSBA Elects New President
  Don Brown stands committed to "Leadership with a strong voice, a team approach and a pro-active vision". This is Mr. Brown's first year as provincial President of the Newfoundland and Labrador School Boards Association.

  Don has extensive experience in School Board leadership in Newfoundland and Labrador. He has served as School Board Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Trustee. Mr. Brown has seven years experience as School Board Chairperson.

  Mr. Brown is quite active in his local community on municipal governments and economic development serving as Mayor and Councilor for twenty-five years; and, he has been a Director for various Regional Economic Development Boards.

  Don is married to Holly and they have two daughters and one grandson. He is currently Branch Manager with the Eagle River Credit Union on the Northern Peninsula.
